Health & Emotions Link

Have you noticed the strong like between your emotional and physical health? SAME.

Here's some of the examples of why this is..
- Science has shown gratitude boosts immunity, lowers blood pressure, & speeds up healing.
- Research has shown that having to deliver a speech can double the severity of allergy symptoms for two days.
- According to scientists at Ohio State University, a 30-minute argument with your partner can slow your body’s ability to heal by at least a day. If you argue regularly, that healing time is doubled.
- Serotonin plays a role in regulating pain perception. Studies showed 45% of patients with depression also suffer aches and pains

So, how do we combat the stresses of daily life to live with better health and more vitality?
You know one of my recommendations is always going to have an essential oil involved ;)
Yarrow|Pom is an emotional cleanser. I started using Yarrow|Pom internally and was angry for about two weeks... It was clearing out anger I'd had bottled up for many years, and since taking it consistnely, I've noticed a significant shift in my internal landscape. I'm more positive, more calm, and no longer feel the constant pull towards anger and frustration.
It's also wonderful to apply topically to the face as an all-natural beauty serum.
This oil just so happens to be 10% off this month (Valentine's Gift to myself, anyone?)
You can purchase it through your own doterra account or click here to find out more: https://doterra.me/ZE67hjD2
One of my favorite tools to tune in to how I'm feeling, is the Essential Emotions book & app. It gives in-depth emotional explanations behind each of the oils, as well as companion oils & in depth journaling prompts about the emotions you're experiencing.
I'm personally a sucker for physical books, but the app is super convenient to have. Whichever your preference, you can check them out here: [link]
(not affiliated in any way. I just LOVE THIS BOOK)
Take yourself on a date. This month focuses a lot on couples and materialism, but it could be something as simple as taking yourself on a walk, going to a park, or taking yourself to a movie. It's so easy to brush ourselves and our own needs off, but when we feel self-love we get that amplified in our surroundings. The same goes for the other way around. When we're in a place of self-contempt it's hard to see the world in a positive light. As above, so below. As within, so without

Buttttt as much as I give advice and what I find success with.. there's times it's just hella nice to get in a good cry. Hey, it actually is healthy too! Follow your feelings and don't be afraid to talk to your loved ones. Chances are they experience it too
